Capture and upload desktop screen

Capture and upload desktop screen

Gyazo is a tool that captures a part of the desktop screen of a personal computer and uploads it to the Web.

When you start Gyazo and select a part of the screen, the selection is automatically uploaded to the web. Uploaded images are assigned a unique image URL.

How to capture and upload desktop screen

1. Click the icon to launch the Gyazo app.

For Windows (11, 10, 8.1, and 7):
Click the icon on your desktop or press the Shortcut keys to launch the application.

These Shortcut keys can be changed in the Gyazo settings.

For Mac (OS X 10.7 or later):
We recommend you drag the Gyazo icon into your dock from the applications folder to create a handy shortcut. Then you can click the icon in the dock to launch the app at any time.

2. Click and drag to select the area on screen you want.

Click and drag your mouse to capture anything you can see.
Websites for bookmarking
Designs for getting feedback
Graphs & data for sharing at work
Games for having fun and boasting
Video & stream clips for saving
Errors & bugs for getting help

3. Release the mouse and Gyazo instantly uploads your image with a unique link.
The long string that makes up your unique link can't be guessed or found by others until you share it. But, anyone with the link can see it instantly without needing to sign up.

4. Share by pasting instantly.
The link is copied to the clipboard automatically when you capture so you're ready to paste right after you capture. You can go from start to finish in seconds.

You can also share Gyazo links directly in chat, posts, docs, and tickets with markdown, embedding, and direct file pasting.

See Sharing Gyazo images for more options and details.
