Fix "Can't execute file" error when installing
Are you getting this error when you try to install?
> Can't execute file:
> ShellExecuteEx failed; code -2147221003
> Application not found
This error is likely related to the way web protocols are set up on your computer.
To fix this, please check if the web protocols HTTP and HTTPS are associated with Google Chrome (or your default browser) on your computer.
Here is how to check and update your web protocols to fix this issue:
Windows 10
1. Go to Start > Settings > System > Default apps > Choose default apps by protocol .
2. On the right of " HTTP " and " HTTPS ", choose Google Chrome or the web browser that you want to use by default to show your Gyazo captures.
Windows 8.1
1. Go to Control Panel > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program .
2. Click " HTTP " and " HTTPS ", then click Change program .
3. Click Google Chrome or other web browser that you want to use.
4. Click OK .
On Windows 7
1. Go to Start > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program .
2. Click " HTTP " and " HTTPS ", then click Change program .
3. Click Google Chrome or other web browser that you want to use.
4. Click OK .
