【展開1】My day introduction
Review numbers with students, particularly numbers ending with “teen” and “ty”.
Introduce special ways to say times (~o’clock, ~ o’five).
Introduce topic vocabulary to students using slideshow.
【展開2】Practice
Class practice using time and topic vocabulary to create sentences. ( I eat breakfast at 6:35.)
Students will have time for self practice and pair practice.
【展開3】Presentation preparation
Students make a speech using a prepared script and choosing topic vocabulary and time to describe their own day.
Students also prepare a slide show to present along with their speech.
Students practice using their slideshow along side their speeches with other students giving and receiving feedback regarding eye contact, mistakes and voice volume.
【展開4】Presentation and reflection
Students present one by one in front of the class.
Self reflection is done regarding how they performed on their presentation and their time management during the practice and preparation steps.
